Hyperion Edition of Barry Miles' "William Burroughs: El Hombre Invisible, A Portrait" (1993)

New York City: Hyperion (book, biography), 1993.
9.5" x 6.5" x 1", 263 pages, hardcover with dust jacket, ISBN 1-56282-848-7.

William Burroughs: El Hombre Invisible, a "portrait" biography by Barry Miles as published in hardcover by Hyperion (New York City) in 1993. Jacket design by Louise Fili. The photograph of Burroughs is unattributed and from the Bettman Archive.

I purchased this copy in the year of publication from Boulder Bookstore (Boulder, Colorado, US).

I also have this copy in the archive, inscribed by Barry Miles, which I acquired from Lorne Bair Rare Books (Winchester, VA), as the inscription was particularly interesting. I reached out to Jan Herman, founder of the Nova Broadcast Press and the periodical San Francisco Earthquake, who confirmed that the inscription was to him. This was given to bookseller Richard Aaron to sell during a difficult financial period. It reads: "To Jan / Who remembers much / of this stuff from days of / old. All the best / Barry".
