Gregory Stephenson's Fleabag Shrine: Diverse Particulars Apropos of N˚ 9 rue Gît-le-Coeur, published by Ober-Limbo Verlag (Heidelberg, Germany) in 2021. A book on the "Beat Hotel" in Paris, through the lens of literary and first-hand references; an exploration of references to the Beat Hotel. This also contains a listing of some lesser-known former residents of the Beat Hotel. An excellent, slim reference.
This contains a number of pages of information of Burroughs at the Beat Hotel by way of:
- Gael Turnbull's "Extracts from a Journal: Paris and Bill Burroughs" (published in Mica, Winter 1962), through Joseph Barry's The People of Paris (1966)
- Ann Morrissett's "An Account of the Events Preceding the Death of Bill Burroughs" (published in Evergreen Review, v. 7, n.29, March-April 1963)
- Graham Seiden's experiences at the hotel (published online)
- Baird Bryant's "Souvenirs of the Beat Hotel" [an original copy of the text is in my archive]
- Ken Tindall's experiences posted online
- Karen Moller's Technicolor Dreamin'
- Alan Taylor's "The Beat Hotel" on his CD Hotels and Dreamers
- Andrew Hussey's BBC recordings of the Beat Hotel
