The uncorrected proof of In Touch: The Letters of Paul Bowles, as edited by Jeffrey Miller and released as an uncorrected proof by Farrar, Straus and Giroux (New York City), 1993. Designed by Fritz Metsch.

This contains multiple letters from Paul Bowles to William S. Burroughs (and to Brion Gysin, among others), as well as mentions of Burroughs.

This specific copy was formerly owned by William S. Burroughs and contains his dog-eared pages, underlining, and marginalia. This copy was acquired from Jim McCrary — poet, former office manager for Burroughs, and Burroughs' friend. This proof suffered from weak glue binding, and when received was mostly loose pages, which have since been re-collated and reset into their covers.
