letter: 11" x 8.5", single sheet, dot-matrix-printed, recto only, signed by Grauerholz with an annotation.

A letter from James Grauerholz at William Burroughs Communications (Lawrence, Kansas, US) to Water Row Books publisher and bookseller Jeffrey Weinberg (Sudbury, Massachusetts, US) on 17 August 1990. This letter notifies Weinberg that William Burroughs Communications is engaging Ira Silverberg as a public relations consultant. It recommends that Weinberg reach out to Silverberg to discuss two works that Water Row Books was planning to produce: Alan Ansen's William Burroughs [which was published] and Michael White's The Final Fix [which appears not to have made it to press].

This letter includes the envelope in which it was received.

This was received directly from Jeffrey Weinberg.
