William S. Burroughs Photo-Portraits (RADAR-Reihe 4) by Michael Heitmann, published in 1982 in Basel Germany by Carl Laszlo's Edition C.L.A.G.

A book of photographs of William S. Burroughs and his companions by Michael Heitmann, mostly taken in New York City and at The Bunker (Burroughs' former YMCA residence) in 1981. This book leads off with a series of quotes from various interviews with William S. Burroughs and contains roughly 94 images of Burroughs by Heitmann, as well as a few images of Burroughs with Heitmann by Carl Laszlo and Michael Barfuss. This book concludes with a small biography of Burroughs by Carl Weissner.

This specific copy was formerly photographer Marcia Resnick's and has been inscribed to her by the publisher Carl Laszlo, by photographers Michael Heitmann and Michael Barfuss, and by editor René Matti. This copy was acquired from Left Bank Books (New York City). My thanks to Eddie Lee Sausage for bringing the book to my attention.
