Alchemist's Cookbook: Moroccan Scientific Cuisine by Ahmed Yacoubi, as published in a hardcover first edition by Omen Press (Tucson, Arizona, US) in 1972.
The more scarce hardcover edition (a softcover edition was also issued) has a blurb by William S. Burroughs on the front cover dust-jacket flap: "Yacoubi the chef is mapping timeless areas of magic." The softcover edition is lacking this quote.
This copy, which was signed and numbered by Ahmed Yacoubi (#8 of 75 copies, although fewer than 75 may have been issued – this is the first such copy that I have spotted). This was acquired without a dust-jacket (it has pictorial boards that look like the dust-jacket, but was originally issued with a dust-jacket) from Shiv Marabito at Shivastan Poetry Ashram (Woodstock, New York, US). A dust-jacket was later added from a rather rough second copy.
