11.75" x 8.25", Twenty-two sheets, rectos only, photocopy.

A copy of the Cambridge Square, London, interviews by Melville Hardiment of William S. Burroughs from November 1960. This is a mid-1980s photocopy, likely from a mimeographed typescript copy.

This interview was published in an edition of 50 copies by Aloes Books (London) publisher Jim Pennington for the 2014 EBSN meeting in Tangier, under the title the lost interview: interzone extra. As noted by Pennington in that item, "this interview and the readings by Burroughs appeared in an undated mimeo edition in the early 80s. The recordings were never broadcast when submitted to the BBC in the mid-60s. They pre-date the 1961 interview in the Journal for the Protection of All Beings."

the lost interview, and its accompanying materials are noted at the website RealityStudio as #11 of the "Top 23 Most Interesting Burroughs Collectibles" by Jed Birmingham.

This copy was previously owned by Jim Pennington, and was received as a gift.
