The Lost Interview: Interzone Extra, a transcription of a recorded conversation with William S. Burroughs – by Melville Hardiment at No. 6 Cambridge Square, Bayswater, London in November 1960 – published as a chapbook by Aloes Press (London) in 2014.
As noted in the item, "[t]his interview and the readings by Burroughs appeared in an undated mimeo edition in the early 80s. The recordings were never broadcast when submitted to the BBC in the mid-60s. They pre-date the 1961 interview in The Journal for the Protection of All Beings."
William Seward Burroughs is a companion essay by Melville Hardiment also published by Aloes Press as a set of gold-colored stapled papers ("inspired by Jeff Nuttal's [sic] My Own Mag"), dated 12 November 2014.
This is a "[s]hort-run digital edition for EBSN [European Beat Studies Network] in Tangier, 2014 – 50 copies only," according to the chapbook.
The photographs in the chapbook are by Harriet Crowder, as are four thumbnail images stapled into the essay.
This set is noted at Jed Birmingham's RealityStudio as #11 on his list of the 23 most interesting Burroughs collectibles.
A second copy of the chapbook (only) was acquired directly from publisher Jim Pennington as a gift during a visit to his London home, and is inscribed on the back cover.
