Twister, an offbeat dark comedy written and directed by Michael Almereyda, featuring Harry Dean Stanton, Suzy Amis, Crispin Hellion Glover, Dylan McDermott, Jenny Wright, Lindsay Christian, and Lois Chiles. Renato Berta is Director of Photography. Production design by David Wasco. Editing by Roberto Silvi. Exectutive Producers are William J. Quigley and Dan Ireland. Produced by Wieland Schulz-Kiel.  Initially released in 1989 and re-released as a DVD by Artisan Entertainment, Inc. (Santa Monica, California, US) in 2003.

William S. Burroughs has a minor role as the "Man in Barn" between 1:03:02 and 1:04:34. Burroughs is met while shooting at targets in the barn.  His appearance in the film is not noted on the case of this DVD not on the front nor in the credits on back. 

Note that this is not the Twister film released in 1996 starring Helen Hunt.
