The Road to Interzone: Reading William S. Burroughs Reading by Michael Stevens, as published by Suicide Press (Archer City, Texas, US) in 2009. Book design by Michael Stevens.  Shown is the 2nd edition, which appears the same as the 1st edition except in the page count [and some contents] – the 1st edition contains 278 pages. [Thanks to Jeff Taylor for pointing this out]. It is suggested that both the 1st and 2nd editions were released as 100 copies each, although this has not yet been confirmed by its author. 

Author Michael Stevens noted to Burroughs & Associates admin Jeffrey Ball that "I added All my Friends are Going to be Strangers by McMurtry to the first section of the second edition, the covers changed from glossy to matte, and I had sold out of the first edition. Aside from the page count, those are the differences and reasons for the second edition."

This contains blurbs from Larry McMurtry, Charles Plymell, Jed Birmingham, Robert Gluck, Kevin Ring, Davis Schneiderman, Eric Shoaf, Supervert, David Woodard, and Hiroo Yamagata.

This is an annotated bibliography of the books that Burroughs read and was influenced by, as well as the introductions, forewords, and blurbs that Burroughs wrote for other writers' works. An excellent piece of scholarship.

This copy of this uncommon book to locate is particularly well-used.
