23: Brion Gysin (or, alternatively, Brion Gysin: 23), an anthology of writings in French and English by and about Brion Gysin. This was organized and edited by Hervé Binet and Marie-Odile Briot in conjunction to the Brion Gysin Play Back exhibition at Espace Electra in Paris, France between 15 January and 14 February 1993. This book was published by I.C.B.M. (Caen, France) with Éditions Cactus (Herouville Saint Clair, France) and 23 (Montrouge, France) in 1993. Not a common book to locate currently.

William S. Burroughs contributes "B.G.", a memoir of Brion Gysin translated into French by Gérard-Georges Lemaire at pages 19-21.

There are a number of photographs of Burroughs towards the back of the book.

I additionally have a second copy of this book which belonged to Roger Knoebber – a former Beat Hotel resident and friend of Brion Gysin. This copy is annotated by Roger Knoebber at his contribution, as his surname was misspelled, as a correction. This copy is in the Roger Knoebber Archive of Brion Gysin and related materials.

Shoaf II.312.
