Jamie Russell's Queer Burroughs, published by Palgrave in 2001. An exploration of Burroughs' queerness, relationship with homosexuality, with masculinity, and the time he lived in. This is divided into four sections: "Resisting the Paradigm: Battling the Discourses of Effeminacy in Junkie, Queer, and Naked Lunch"; "Imagining It Otherwise: Engrams, Effeminacy, and Masculine Identity"; "Powers of Pleasure: Hypermasculinity, Hedonism and Self-Mastery"; and "The Flight of the Soul from the Body".

This was released in both hardcover and softcover editions [pictured here is the hardcover].
