This is Roger Knoebber's copy of The Third Mind by William S. Burroughs and Brion Gysin, signed by Gysin, and inscribed by William S. Burroughs: "For Roger old friend and fellow travellor [sic] William S. Burroughs".

Roger Knoebber lived in the Beat Hotel at 9, rue Gît-le-Cœur in Paris with Brion Gysin, William S. Burroughs and many others between 1959 and 1962.

This copy os edge-worn and rather discolored by smoke (as was most of Knoebber's archive), but has a very interesting association.
