"From the Western Lands" Broadside, 1987
Santa Fe, New Mexico: Casa Sin Nombre (broadside, signed, limited), 1987.
12" x 24", single-sided, 750 copies produced, unnumbered.
A copy of the "From the Western Lands" broadside produced by Casa Sin Nombre Gallery, Santa Fe [of which Steven Lowe of the Desert Hot Springs Beat Hotel was involved] in an edition of 750 copies. Initially quite abstract looking, but actually quite frisky. Includes a selection of text from The Western Lands, as might be expected.
This copy which is signed by William S. Burroughs (at lower right, near the small photograph of WSB] was formerly in the collection of Jeff Goldberg, author [Flowers in the Blood: The Story of Opium], editor, and publisher [Traveler's Digest, FOOK!, etc] who also supported the Burroughs event The Nova Convention. Acquired directly from Jeff Goldberg.
I additionally hold a second (unsigned) copy which came from the collection of Michael Skau, Professor of English at the University of Nebraska, by way of Jeffrey Weinberg of Water Row Books.
