Best American Detective Stories of the Year (1967)

London, England: Macdonald & Co. (book, anthology, 1st), 1967.
8" x 5.5" x 1.125", 272 pages, hardcover.

Best American Detective Stories of the Year, 17th Series, edited by Anthony Boucher. A rather scarce anthology which contains Burroughs' contribution "They Do Not Always Remember", pp. 173-176, from Esquire magazine.

Surprisingly, not in Maynard & Miles, Shoaf, or in Schottlaender (v4). This item was first brought to my attention from Aloes Press publisher James Pennington.

Contents:

  • Anthony Boucher: introduction
  • Gene Williams: "The Yellow Brick Road"
