Poster for "The Here To Go Show", Dublin, 1992

Dublin, Ireland: Frank Rynne, Joe Ambrose, Terry Wilson, and Niall Sweeney (poster, signed), 1992.
33" x 19.25"

Rare poster designed by Niall Sweeney for “The Here To Go Show”, organized across three venues between September 29th and October 10th, 1992, Dublin.

At the Project Arts Centre, paintings by Burroughs, Gysin, and Hamri were exhibited, and a series of events was hosted.

At The Gallery of Photography, Ira Cohen photographs were exhibited.

At the Beat Museum (SF? Dublin?) Beat memorabilia, including one of Burroughs’ hats was exhibited.

This was in concert with the release of the Man from Nowhere: Storming the Citadels of Enlightenment with William Burroughs and Brion Gysin book (and box set), and with the release of The Here To Go Tapes, an album of Gysin interviews.

The event was captured in the documentary Destroy All Rational Thought.

This copy of the poster was acquired directly from Frank Rynne at the Cut-Ups@2023 EBSN conference in Paris between September 12-15, 2023, where it was signed by both Frank and by author Terry Wilson. Frank suggests that this is very likely the only copy signed by Terry.
