Meet the Beats: 18 Interviews by Lars Movin, a book of interviews with Beat Generation figures, as published by Moloko Press (Germany) in an English-language softcover in 2026. Lars Movin took all of the introductions and interviews and most of the photographs, with additional photographs by Gary Snyder, Mimi Heinrich, and Steen Møller Rasmussen. Book design by Robert Schalinski. Introduction by Gregory Stephenson.

At a casual glance, one might miss that this book has significant biographical and cultural information on William S. Burroughs and Brion Gysin. This book, however, is a valuable set of interviews and merits attention. Burroughs (and Gysin) mentions appear throughout the book, most often in the interviews with Mimi Heinrich (largely on Kells Elvins and Burroughs), Harold Chapman, Harold Norse, Conrad Rooks, John Giorno, and George Condo.
