Aloes Books Interzone Special: "SOMETHING TO SAY" No. 4, an unexcerpted transcript of William S. Burroughs' first televised appearance, with Alexander Trocchi, on the UK's ITV Rediffusion program with Daniel Farson of Something to Say, the fourth episode, on 6 January 1964. This transcript appears here in a "P-P PoP" (Pre-Publication Proof-of-Pirate) chapbook edition by Jim Pennington's Aloes Books (London), produced for the EBSN (European Beat Studies Network) London Interzone conference, 4–6 September 2026. This chapbook includes screen captures from the episode.

In the transcript, Burroughs discusses Naked Lunch, drugs, drug laws, addiction, the space age, telepathy, writing, family and marriage, and his upcoming projects. The section in which he discusses the shooting death of his partner, Joan Vollmer, is particularly interesting and frank.  

This copy of the chapbook was acquired at the conference and was inscribed by Jim Pennington during a visit to his home a couple of days after the conference.
