"The Coldspring Journal Letters.. Press, Etc." (1974)

Cherry Valley, New York, US: Cherry Valley Editions (chapbook), 1974.
8.5" x 5.625", 12 pages, unpaginated, folded and unstapled.

The Coldspring Journal Letters, a chapbook of letters to the editor and press materials, as published by Pamela Beach Plymell and Charles Plymell's Cherry Valley Editions (Cherry Valley, New York, US) in 1974. This appears to be a promotional item sent to sellers to drive up interest in the journal.

On the fifth page is a listing of "McAC Thursday Night Readings" at Bernard Hall, Bernard College, New York City, for Fall 1974. William S. Burroughs and John Giorno are scheduled on 3 October 1974.

On the sixth page is a letter from James Grauerholz of William Burroughs Communications to Charles Plymell, noting in the second paragraph that "Bill is too busy working on a new book about an interplanetary black-magic-practicing queer private eye to dictate anything right now, but he has dug C-S Journal and will try and locate somewhere in the beautiful chaos of his files something you and he might like to get out together."

On the eleventh page is an advertisement for Charles Plymell's Last of the Moccasins, which includes William S. Burroughs' blurb for the book.

This was acquired from Jeffrey Weinberg, Water Row Books (Massachusetts, US).
