Two images by Philip Heying, photographer and friend of William S. Burroughs, with James Grauerholz, William Burroughs' business manager and the former Estate of William S. Burroughs [d. 1 January 2026] after William's death. These photographs were taken at Lone Star Lake, Southwest of Lawrence, Kansas, on 4 July 1986. James Grauerholz is wearing his "Megakegger" t-shirt, which refers to one of his large parties; however, this event on the 4th was more intimate. Michael Emerton [not pictured] was also present, among others. William S. Burroughs was not in attendance.

These were received from Philip Heying during a 2026 visit to his home in rural Kansas.
