Apocalypse Across the Sky by The Master Musicians of Jajouka featuring Bachir Attar [not to be confused with The Master Musicians of Joujouka], as released as a double-LP by Zehra (Germany) in 2020. This follows the 1992 CD and cassette release by Axiom. Produced by Bill Laswell. Recorded in Morocco 8–10 November 1991. Produced with the assistance of Nicky Skopelitis and Cherie Nutting. Photographs by Cherie Nutting. Engineered by Oz Fritz, with assistant engineer Carl Glanville.
William S. Burroughs supplies the liner notes to this album, excerpted from "Face to Face with the Goat God" as published in Oui, volume 2, number 8, August 1973. This contains a long quote from Brion Gysin's "The Pipes of Pan", as published in Gnaoua, Issue 1, Spring 1964.
