"William S. Burroughs: Complete Poetry" (2016)

8.375" x 5.75" x 0.125", 26 pages, softcover, numbered.

William S. Burroughs: Complete Poetry [or, on the cover, W.S.B. Complete Poetry], a compilation edited by Dutch poet Derrel Niemeijer and published by their imprint MeerPeper (Eindhoven, Netherlands) in March, 2016. This is a collection of Burroughs's works that are more poetic in form.  It is my understanding that Niemeijer received the estate's permission to publish this, and in October 2016, seven months after publication, Niemeijer died of esophageal cancer. This was released in a very small edition of only 25 numbered copies, and was the first and only publication from Niemeijer's imprint.

This specific copy was acquired from Akim Willems (Belgium) via Catawiki (Amsterdam, Netherlands). This copy is #24 of 25. It is a wonderful, thin publication, but I think it is likely not as "complete" as it claims to be, however excellent a selection it provides [one example].

Note that some online sources refer to this as "Life Is a Killer," which is understandable given the cover image, but the title page clearly states it as William S. Burroughs: Complete Poetry, and does not mention the attributed title. The title William S. Burroughs: Complete Poetry is also noted on the copyright/limitation page. "Life Is a Killer" is a John Giorno phrase, and Burroughs is sitting in front of a Giorno painting in the photograph.

Not in Schottlaender.
