This is a mini-archive of promotional materials for Kaldewey Press, which produced William S. Burroughs’ Mummies with Carl Apfelschnitt. This includes (1) a postcard from the press, unused, (2) a mailer from Mills College for an exhibition of artists books by Kaldewey Press on 3-31 March 1988 [this notes Burroughs on the recto], and (3) an accordion-format brochure for “The Kaldewey Press at Ursus Books & Prints in the Carlyle Hotel, April 6-22, 1988” – this includes a section on Mummies and a reproduction of one of Carl Apfelschnitt’s etchings for the book.
One of the 70 copies of Mummies by William S. Burroughs and Carl Apfelschnitt is in my archive.
