The Third Mind. A Sonic Tribute to the Dreamachine – Brion Gysin, William S. Burroughs & Ian Sommerville, a CD anthology of music inspired by the Dreamachine. Curated by Raffaele Pezzella. Layout by Matteo Mariano. 200 physical copies released.
This CD contains no apparent audio by Burroughs or Gysin but is deeply referential. The cover art is modified from an image by Charles Gatewood of Burroughs and Gysin at the Dreamachine. Images from Gysin's permutation and grid poems are partially reproduced inside, and the CD label uses an image of Dreamachine plans. Some basic history on the Dreamachine is printed inside the case.
