This book contains a chapter, “The Final Fix,” in which William S. Burroughs, his search for Yage, and the ethnobotanical work of Richard Evans Schultes are discussed. Burroughs mostly shows up on pages 120-124.

This copy is signed on the title page by the author and additionally inscribed by its former owner, Jim Pennington (Aloes Books, London), to me. This copy contains Jim Pennington's reading marginalia. Received as a gift from Jim Pennington.
