Cities of the Red Night by William S. Burroughs, as published in a limited edition of 500 copies, all of which are signed and numbered by Burroughs and slipcased (without dust-jackets). These were shipped in a cardboard carton from the publisher, Holt, Rinehart & Winston (New York City) with the title and limitation on the cover, in 1981. 

This is copy #355, and includes the original shipping carton (with some added tape from a prior collector).
