The Air in the Room, a Report from the Sixties: LSD, William S. Burroughs & Scientology by George D. Rollins III, as published by S-H Publishing (n.p.) as a hardcover in 2025. Cover art by George Rollins. Cover Design by Zander Raymond. Photograph of George Rollins by Thomas Antel. Uncredited cover photo of Burroughs by Charles Henri Ford.

Part personal memoir, part recollection of William S. Burroughs, this book traces a friendship with William S. Burroughs beginning in 1960s London, where the author was studying Scientology alongside Burroughs at Saint Hill. This book includes reproductions of photos of Burroughs (one of Burroughs reading at Chillingstreet Cottage, Sussex, and another of Burroughs with the author outside of Burroughs' Bunker loft, NYC), as well as ten pages of reproduced correspondence. In addition, Burroughs' certificate of completion for his Scientology solo auditing course is also reproduced.

Some mentions of Brion Gysin and Ian Sommerville are also present in this book.
