This is an archive of items formerly owned by artist Georganne Deen in relation to a visit to Lawrence, Kansas, to the River City Reunion event in September 1987. Georganne went as a guest of Dr. Timothy Leary.

This archive includes a later printing [post 1982; thanks to Jeff Taylor for the correction] of the Black Cat / Grove Press softcover edition of Naked Lunch, which was signed by WSB for her on 12 September 1987.

This archive also includes twelve Polaroid photographs of William S. Burroughs. Timothy Leary, Nelson Lyon, Diane di Prima, Jello Biafra, Angie Brown (Timothy Leary's Media Advisor), Anne Waldman, Andrei Codrescu, Allen Ginsberg, Hal Willner, and Georganne Deen, herself.

This archive was acquired directly from Georganne Deen in exchange for financial assistance to a Palestinian family in need. This also includes a letter from Georganne on the verso of one of her exhibition postcards.
