This is a small archive of Louie Raffloer's photographs of the 9-10 July 1988 visit of William S. Burroughs to Seattle, Washington, US. On 9 July 1988 William S. Burroughs and poet Steven Jesse Bernstein had a reception together at CoCA (Center on Contemporary Art) and readings at the Moore Theater. On 10 July 1988 William S. Burroughs had a separate reception and luncheon at the columns at the University of Washington. Michael Emerton and James Grauerholz were present.

Seventy-One prints are in this mini-archive, mostly from the CoCA reception and the UW reception. There are a few images in this set of another Steven Jesse Bernstein reception at which Kathy Acker is present.

These were acquired as a set of digital images on thumb drive directly from the photographer Louie Raffloer, printed through a service with the photographer's permission. All photographs are annotated on the back of their backing boards, and most of the attendees in the images have been identified. My thanks to Louie Raffloer, Chuck Iffland, and Larry Reid for context and information.
