An index card that Burroughs painted (either intentionally or unintentionally) that was on the floor of his studio, picked up and kept by Jim McCrary – poet, Burroughs' friend and office manager – in July of 1997. This was gifted to me in 2022, with a note by Jim McCrary on verso, part of a thank-you gift given for helping Jim locate and return his Burroughs-inscribed copy of My Education.
