Second Edition of "So Who Owns Death TV?" (1967)

San Francisco, California, US: Beach Books (book, chapbook), 1967.
5.5" x 8.5", 16 pages, stapled wraps, "75¢".

So Who Owns Death TV? by William S. Burroughs, Claude Pélieu, and Carl Weissner, as published in a second edition by Mary Beach's imprint Beach Books (San Francisco, California, US), and was distributed by City Lights Books in 1967. The second edition, which carries a cover price of 75¢, is differentiated from the first edition by the addition of a photo of Claude Pélieu, two photo-collages by Jean-Jacques Lebel, and an illustration by Liam O'Gallagher.

Burroughs' contribution, which spans three pages, begins with "A boy as quoted in The Desperate Years assembled by James D. Horan...", and includes a three-column section.

This specific copy was inscribed from William S. Burroughs to his friend William Gambell, one of the original Merry Pranksters, in 1995. This copy was acquired from Jeffrey Long at Long Brothers Rare Books (Seattle, Washington, US).

A second, unsigned copy, of the second edition is also in the archive.
