This is a story about Burroughs with Burroughs as the main character – Joan Vollmer, Francis Bacon, and the fictional Dr. Benway all appear. The text is in Portuguese, and there is no English-language edition (as of 2025). A hardcover edition in French was later produced by Presque Lune Editions, in 2024.

"Os Limites do Controle" ["The Limits of Control"] by William S. Burroughs is reproduced in Portuguese towards the end of the book, in the section "Agentes do Controle."
