Published by Joachim Schönauer. Edited by Birgit Mania. Layout and design by Frank Schaaf. Printed at WIRmachenDRUCK, Backnang.
This came enclosed by a white envelope stamped with an image of Tangier.
In Pocaio's essay "Out of Tangier", pp. 5-9, is discussion of Brion Gysin, his death, and his funeral ceremony at the Caves of Hercules. William S. Burroughs is well-mentioned, as is Udo Breger, Felicity Mason, Targuist, and others. This essay was reprinted from Einblick Spezial, issue 1, 1994. This essay is preceded by an image of the Caves of Hercules by Boris Kerenski.
William S. Burroughs is also discussed in Boris Kerenski's small essay "Ein 5-Sterne Quartier im Baedeker der Beat Generation" next to an image of Villa El Muniria.
The book is filled with recent images of Tangier, with many sites that were important to William S. Burroughs (such as the El Muniria).
This copy is signed and dated by Boris Kerenski.
In addition, this copy came with a postcard by Boris Kerenski of one of the images within the book, and a prospectus for the newer edition of tanger telegramm by Boris Kerenski and Florian Vetsch.
This was all acquired with the kind support of Gabriel Swossil, with my deep appreciation to them and to Boris.
