Chelsea Hotel, a book of photographs of the Chelsea Hotel and its residents by Claudio Edinger published by Abbeville Press (New York City, US.) in 1983. This has an introduction by Pete Hamill and textual contributions by Arthur C. Clarke, William S. Burroughs, Clifford Irving, Richard R. Lingeman, and Viva.

William S. Burroughs has a single-page recollection at page 63. This appears to be from interview – although this is not stated. There are multiple spelling problems with names – most likely this suffers from a transcription and editing problem ("domain poetique" rather than "domaine poétique", "Bernard Heidsick" rather than "Bernard Heidsieck", "Brian Gysin" rather than "Brion Gysin", "Anthony Balch" rather than "Antony Balch", "Norman Rubbington" rather than "Norman Rubington", "Akbar Di Piombo" rather than "Akbar Del Piombo", "Dream Machine" rather than "Dreamachine", "Claude Pieu" rather than "Claude Pélieu", etc.). [I have not seen the later republished version, but I certainly hope that it had a more attentive and informed editor.]
