A copy of the April, 1987 newsletter of the Lawrence Community Theatre in Lawrence, Kansas. 

On the recto is an article on the Queer-inspired play Lee and the Boys in the Backroom, which ran between 8-12 May, 1987. This explains how the play came to be, and Burroughs' support and engagement with it.

On the verso is a small note in the lower left corner that mentions Burroughs' appearance for an "autograph session" on 12 May after the play, with books supplied by Bill Getz of the KU Oread Bookstore.
