Brion Gysin's The Last Museum (1986)

New York City: Grove Press (book, 1st, blurb), 1986.
8.5" x 5.75" x 0.75", 186 pages, hardcover with dust-jacket, ISBN 0-394-55555-4.

The Last Museum by Brion Gysin, a work that was alternately titled The Beat Museum and Hotel Bardo, as published by Grove Press (New York City) in 1986, the year of Gysin's death. Softcover and hardcover editions were produced – the copy pictured is the rather scarce hardcover edition.

William S. Burroughs contributes the introduction to this book, pp. 4-8.

William S. Burroughs also contributes the sole blurb to the back cover of this edition: "The is a guidebook, a map. A guidebook for the period between Death and Rebirth. Brion Gysin has written a modern Book of the Dead. His vision is very special indeed." This quote is snipped from the introduction, apparently.
