The 1st UK edition of William S. Burroughs' The Naked Lunch, published by John Calder (London) in 1964. This includes the introductory essay "Deposition: Testimony Concerning a Sickness", and includes, as an appendix, the "Letter from a Master Addict to Dangerous Drugs", as published in The British Journal of Addiction, volume 53, number 2, January 1957.  

This copy, which has an unclipped dust-jacket, is unsigned. 4000 copies were printed [Maynard & Miles].
