Limited Edition Boxed Set of 7786, a project centered on a photoshoot of William S. Burroughs at Hixon Studios in Lawerence, Kansas on January 5, 1983.  This project was managed by Patrick Clement and was on Kickstarter – this box was one of the "rewards" for supporting the project.

This cloth-covered box, one of up to 30 produced [actual final count not known, but assumed six, see below], is bound by an elastic band and embossed with "7786" and an image of Burroughs' face. This contains the following:

  • A 40-page booklet containing a variety of photographs from Hixon Studios
  • A 60-page white hardcover book containing images of Burroughs, studio ephemera, and the scheduling book. This has a foreword by Victor Bockris, and is stamped on the first free end-paper with an image of a standing Burroughs, and is hand-numbered "99/100"
  • A 60-page black hardcover book with a different cover depicting Burroughs smiling. This has the same fundamental contents as the "white" book. This copy is stamped with an image of Burroughs' face and numbered [as far as I can tell] "3/6"
  • A small (3" x 2") photograph of Burroughs smiling in a black envelope
  • A set of seven postcards of William S. Burroughs in different poses, in a black envelope
  • A 6" x 4" photograph of Burroughs smiling along with a faux negative of a different Burroughs image, together in a white envelope
  • A set of seven postcards of other headshots from Hixon Studios, together in a grey envelope
This copy was received directly from the project.

I additionally have some copies of the black-covered book, and a tintype from the project; these were gathered separately on the secondary market.
