From the copy on poster: “An exhibition of photographs printed from negatives given by William Seward Burroughs to Barry Miles in London in the 1970s. Also showing are a few original photographs of Burroughs taken by Miles at that time, a series of photos of Burroughs from his Git le Coeur ‘Beat Hotel’ days by Brion Gysin and a selection of books, manuscripts, paintings and other Burroughs memorabilia. A BBC programme focusing on the largely unexplored friendship between Burroughs and Francis Bacon will be playing and cut ups and sound pieces will be broadcast simultaneously.”

Acquired as a gift from Carl Williams of Carl Williams Rare Books (Maggs) in London.
