Ruby Editions Portfolio 1, designed by Henri Chopin and published by Larry Wallrich's Ruby Editions series, contains three prints by three artists: William S. Burroughs, Cozette de Charmoy, and Henri Chopin. All three prints numbered and signed by their artists. 130 copies in the full edition, 30 of which are considered Hors Commerce copies.
The Burroughs print contains the text of "Une Poeme Moderne", "cut-up" into bits of words over two images of Burroughs. This image is taken from a photograph taken by Brion Gysin of Burroughs in Paris (against a "DANGER" sign).
This copy is #7 of the 30 Hors Commerce copies.
