Press release for Fantagraphics Books plan to publish Ah Pook Is Here, a collaboration between William S. Burroughs and the artist Malcolm Mc Neill, this release dated January 20, 2010, two years prior to release of the (adjusted) books mentioned.

The publication did not go as hoped with the Estate of William S. Burroughs, and ultimately, to avoid an injunction, Fantagraphics went ahead with publishing the art only (without Burroughs' text) as The Lost Art of Ah Pook Is Here: Images from the Graphic Novel (in 2012).  This was not the first time that a full publication of the collaboration had been blocked.

In addition to The Lost Art of Ah Pook Is Here, Fantagraphics Books also published Observed While Falling: Bill Burroughs, Ah Pook, and Me, a memoir of the collaboration by artist Malcolm Mc Neill -- this book is also noted in the release.

At the bottom of the second page and the whole third page are examples of Mc Neill's art.
