Notterossa / Rednight
Firenze, Italy: TRAX (0682, cassette and booklet, limited), 1982
Booklet and cassette set, 500 copies produced, influenced by William S. Burroughs and containing references to Burroughs and Cities of the Red Night throughout. This was a companion to an exhibition for the first annual TRAX convention in Bertiolo.
From the cassette notes:
"500 copies reproduced from reel-to-reel master with fast copying-machine."
Uncommonly seen with the booklet, which includes art multiple contributors as well as an essay by Vittore Baroni on Burroughs and the exhibition, pp. 23-26.
This copy was previously in the collection of Michael Skau, English professor (and Burroughs scholar) at University of Nebraska. Acquired through Jeffrey Weinberg of Water Row Books.
