Taken at the 25th anniversary celebration of the publication of Jack Kerouac's novel, On the Road, held on the University of Colorado campus at Boulder, presented by Naropa Institute. Kerouac's close friend, Beat poet Allen Ginsberg, organized and ran the 10-day long event, which was described by Beat writer John Clellon Holmes as being the largest gathering of Beats ever.
